History
Firstly i want to talk about a short history of Linux. It is an open- source operating system that has a large number of users all over the world.Linus Torvalds , a computer engineer ,has created Linux and used for his computer works in the beginning .He started to write shell scripts in 1991.Linus Torvalds shared his open-source codes on the internet ,a lot of users joined and developed this cool os;Linux.The shell ,which Linus Torvalds improved ,became an amazing element of GNU in a short time.Free programs whose codes were written for GNU were renewed for the Linux Shell.
Hint:GNU is an open-open source operating system which is created as a project in 1984.The word "GNU" is an abbreviation of "GNU’s Not Unix!".We use GNU with the Linux kernel.
Where is the Linux used?
You are probably a Linux user,if you have Android Os on your cell phone.Linux is at mobil industry,servers,networks,Good performance,free usage,security,open-source and developing codes are reasons of being preferred.Popular Linux distributions
Ubuntu,Mint,Debian,Fedora,Red Hat Enterprise,Suse are most known Linux distributions.Where to Start?
